Featured in look 18 from AW22’s collection Hudson River School, the Reconstituted shirred t-shirt dress implements vintage graphic t-shirts for the dress body. An inverted t-shirt is attached to the hem of the t-shirt, a new take on our iconic t-shirt dress silhouette. Tees are stitched with elastic thread, ‘shirring’ the dress into a fitted style, reminiscent of y2k popcorn tops. The vintage t-shirt ruffles at the hem and sleeves, where the elastic stitching ends. Each dress is entirely unique, with vintage graphics sourced by the CI studio team.
